It saddens me how the world will help briefly then stop and go on with life. The devastation that has occurred in Haiti is beyond measure, yet people have donated $5 or $10 and have gone back to believing that their contribution will suffice. If that is the only thing one can do....by all means IT WILL SUFFICE. However, for most of us, more can be done and more should be done.
Imagine if your entire city was leveled.
YOUR ENTIRE CITY.
Imagine walking thru the streets and to the left and right of you there are nothing but bodies. Imagine that your loved ones or friends couldn't be identified, and were just burned before you could even get to them. Imagine your mother or brother or sister, or child were waiting for medical help and DIED a senseless death WAITING.
How can we stand by while this great tragedy is taking place....
FOR SOMEONE, THIS IS THEIR REALITY.
We must stand up, and stand together and help this nation. They have lost EVERYTHING.
How can $5 or $10 ever be enough?
